Well, being sanctified means to be separated from the world. The Bible says, "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2)"
What is the will of God?
Romans 8:29 declares "For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son (Jesus), that he might become the firstborn among many brothers."
